DistroWatch publishes news about and reviews of all sorts of Linux and BSD distros. They have both editor and user reviews of all manner distros, mainstream and obscure. They also have a search feature which lets you filter by certain traits (size, init system, supporting particular hardware architectures, etc.). They also have some tutorials and a Q&A forum (that I have't even looked at time of writing. I could spend hours here. I don't even mind that their ads don't get blocked by uBlock Origin, since they seem to exclusively take unobtrusive ads from companies selling hardware to run Linux on.
